Zoho SalesIQ is a cloud based business app that can be used to track live visits to your business website.

So, with SalesIQ businesses can not only learn who is visiting and where they are from, what browser they are using, but also where they are going on the website, what pages interest them, what pages cause them to stop visiting, and so on.

There are many ways to arrange your content on business websites, from menus and submenus, breadcrumbs, columns, and also tabs.

Zoho Sites has functions that cover all of these and it has never been easier to use, simply drag and drop the 'element' into the page you are working on and you're done!


The option to add Tabs of content is a fairly new addition to the Zoho Sites function suite and is one that might suit pages that need to contain a lot of information, without forcing the reader to scroll through reams and reams of text.

For example, product descriptions, that might contain a summary, then details of the dimensions, weights, other specs as well as performance criteria and so on.

Zoho Projects has always had a timer function so users assigned to Tasks can record how long the task takes.

This can be done in two ways:

1) The ‘log time’ function - add on 4 hours, or 3 hours at the end of the session. Useful if you have forgotten to time something but is really based on memory of how long you think something took and is open to error.

2) The timer is a way to track the task time in a live scenario, and is literally a start/stop function and the clock ticks away while you are working on a task. 

This can be a great way to accurately record how long projects take, which is in turn is useful of course to learn how much the project costs and also to assess bill out rates and more.

Zoho have recently rolled out yet another online business app that compliments Zoho CRM perfectly. And the best part: it motivates your sales teams and the same time!

Zoho Motivator is a cloud based business app that uses the data in Zoho CRM to present in user friendly dashboards and charts, solely with the aim of being used to gamily sales processes and promote healthy competition between sales people on your team.

This may be KPIs such as number of calls per week, number of new leads, sales won and so on, but it can also be configured to include more customised KPIs such as number of marketing stands set up, number of meetings and so on.

We have been beta testing the new Zoho CRM mobile app and have to say it is great! A vast improvement on the existing one, which in fact is still pretty good compared to the competitor CRM apps! 

A brand new interface, with task and event oriented functions / screens allows you to see immediately who is doing what and when, and the calendaring layout seems to offer so much more space on screen, very nice.

One thing we would recommend if tracking events of multiple staff is important to you: get your users to go to their Zoho account page (you can get there via and upload their photo - the new UI on the Zoho CRM app displays small thumbnails against the events so you can see who is who.

Zoho have just released Zoho Campaigns for Android mobile devices.

Zoho Campaigns for mobile allows you to use your single sign on ID to access your email campaigns in terms of basic stats - reads, clicks, bounces etc - plus view the campaign email and other functions enabling you to keep on top of your campaigns while on the go.

In addition you can analyse email lists to get summaries of list members, unsubscribes, bounced subscribers, and the campaigns that have been sent and that are scheduled for sending to those email lists.

Finally you can also analyse the subscriber media usage on a per list basis, such as the devices your emails are being read on, the browsers the contacts are using, the OS, and even the email client like Outlook, Lotu...

Zoho have just released a Google Chrome extension for tracking the time spent on projects in the timesheet module of Zoho Books, hopefully making the process of tracking time much simpler.

Picture it: you start the timer to begin working on a task, but then you go to lunch and then do something else and forget to stop the timer… before long something that should have taken 2 hours of billable time has taken (on paper) 8 hours!  Yes, you forgot to stop the timer. We do it too.
